Memorial of the Historical Site of the First CPC National Congress (now No.76, Xingye Road, Shanghai, the original No.106, Wangzhi Road) introduces the historical events of the birth of the Chinese Communist Party. It covers an area of 1300 square meters more with a construction area of more than 3,000 square meters and was built in 1952, including 3 parts: the meeting rooms of the first CPC Congress, the exhibition rooms about the founding of the CPC and the temporary showroom of the revolutionary history of the CPC. The meeting room lies on the ground floor of No.76, Xingye Road, where the furniture and display items are kept in their original places. In the exhibition room there are over 170 pieces of historical documents, cultural relics and photos, including the founding historical background of CPC, the appearance of every local CPC groups and their activities and the birth of CPC. In the temporary showroom of the revolutionary history of the CPC, the precious historical materials of Mao Zedong and Zhou Enlai when they were in Shanghai had been once displayed respectively.
