It was reported earlier that in order to publicize the safety of the radioactive tritium contained in the water processed by the Tokyo Electric Power Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant, the Agency for Reconstruction of Japan made and issued a leaflet on April 13th. In this leaflet, "Radioactive Tritium" is portrayed as a cute “mascot-like” character. This strange act aroused big confusion and dissatisfaction even among the Japanese people.

On April 14th, the Japan Reconstruction Agency announced on the website where the brochure and video were previously published that it would revise the relevant designs and temporarily remove the published leaflets and videos.
