Memorial Site of the Second CPC National Congress, which was held in Shanghai from July 16th to 23rd in 1922, is located in Chengdu North Road, Shanghai. The members of Central Bureau at that time and the representatives of the Partys local organizations, who were together representing the 195 Party members throughout the country, attended the Congress. The Second CPC National Congress put forward the democratic revolutionary program for the first time and developed the first Constitution of CPC. Moreover, it initially proposed the idea of democratically united front and published the "Chinese Communist Manifesto" for the first time. Besides, it raised the relatively complete requests to the movements among labourers, women and the young for the first time. Whats more, it primarily decided to participate in the Communist International and firstly carried out the slogan of“Long live the Communist Party of China”. The Second CPC National Congress is an important milestone in the history of the Party, which completed the task of founding the Party with the First CPC National Congress.
