    The Site of Liping Meeting is located in Liping County, Guizhou Province. It is a building of late-Qing-Dynasty style and it covers more than 800 square meters.
      On December 14th, 1934, the Central Red Army conquered Liping County, and the CPC Central Committee held the meeting of Political Bureau on December 18th, namely “Liping Meeting”. The meeting denied the wrong marching plan guided by “Left” adventurism, and affirmed Mao Zedong’s right opinions. And the meeting passed Resolution on Setting up New Base Area at the Border Between Sichuan and Guizhou, and also decided to dismiss the Eighth Red Army Group and to redesignate the army. Liping Meeting laid a foundation for Zunyi Meeting.
       In 1981, the Site of Liping Meeting was refurbished, and it was entitled Provincial Cultural Relic Protection Unit by Guizhou Provincial Government. After a refurbishment in 1984, a new exhibition room was built here. There is a horizontal board inscribed by Chen Yun’s handwriting “The Site of Liping Meeting of Political Bureau of CPC Central Committee” hanging above the gate of the site. There are eight exhibition rooms with hundreds of exhibits.
