When it comes to the meritorious scientist of “Automic Bomb, Hydrogen Bomb and Artificial satellite”, Sun Jiadong, whose name is associated with numerous “China Firsts” ,such as the first guided missile, the first artificial satellite, the first communication satellite, the first Beidou Navigation satellite, the first lunar exploration satellite, etc. It’s acknowledged that Sun’s life experience parallels the history of the People’ s Republic of China’ s development in aerospace business.

Sun, who turned 90 this year, personally participated in and witnessed the whole development of the Chinese aerospace program from a blank sheet to a top leader worldwide in space-faring.
