The sub-center of Beijing, with a planned area of 155 square kilometers, is located at the intersection of the east extension line of Chang 'an Avenue and the Grand Canal.
On May 27th, 2016, the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee held a meeting to study and implement the construction of the sub-center of Beijing, and further promote the coordinated development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region.
After years of hard work, the framework of the sub-center city has been built quickly and orderly, and a number of landmark projects are under construction. The canal business district has taken shape, and the green heart of the city looks lush, forming a blue-green interweaving, fresh and bright ecological spatial pattern of the integration of water and city.
