In order to fully implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important statements on education, Beijing took the lead in promoting the “double reduction” policy across the country, for the purpose of caring for the healthy growth of students, relieving the burdens on families and consolidating the achievements of overall well-off. We should fully implement the action of “controlling the disorder, reducing students’ homework pressure and conducting risk management”, and pro-actively promote the “double reduction” work in which we have achieved initial results. In the future, always putting the interests of people at the center, we should insist on the policy, effectively relieving the burden of students’ overwork and off-campus training and actively building good educational ecology, so as to constantly improve the quality of schooling, enhance the people’s sense of gain and make sure that the work of “double reduction” has actual results.
