Before translating, we should understand the meaning of each word and sentence.

2. Grasping the meaning beyond lines

It’s hard to grasp their meanings even though we undersatand each word in some English sentences, for English is a vague language. In this case, we can’t reach a conclusion unless the rational judgment is made based on our lanuage knowledge.

3. Finding the origins of allusions

It is not easy for us foreigners to understand some common allusions literally while for British and American people, the situation reverses. Since allusions have become a part of daily communications, native speakers can get the meanings promptly as long as one or two words are mentioned.
