The General Secretary Xi sent a congratulatory letter to the First International Summit on BDS applicable on September 16^th, 2021.

The BeiDou System has been popularized and applied in more than half of the countries and regions in the world since last July, and scale application of the BeiDou System entered a key stage of marketization, industrialization, and internationalization.

The General Secretary Xi emphasized that the Beidou System not only benefits Chinese, but also people all over the world. China adheres to openness, coordination, cooperation, compatibility, complementarity and achievements sharing. More importantly, China would like to promote the industrial development and construction of the BDS, share achievements and promote progress in global satellite navigation with all parties in order to make the BDS serve the world and benefit mankind better.
