2020 is a decisive triumph year against poverty alleviation. This year, the central government allocated the special poverty alleviation funds a month earlier than in previous years, not only increasing the input, but fully taking the influence of COVID-19 into consideration.

The abrupt outbreak of COVID-19 has an impact on economy. While tightly implementing the epidemic prevention and control, we must also focus on the key tasks of eradicating poverty and building a moderately prosperous society in all respects. Recently, the Ministry of Finance has allocated 26.027 billion yuan in special poverty alleviation funds from the central government for 2020, adding up to 139.636 billion yuan.
